For the spring 2013 season, J.Crew's head of women's design Tom Mora, found inspiration in an old collection of Time-Life nature books, vision he transposed into clean silhouettes that exude elegance and style. Featuring a heavy dose of silk fabrics, the entire collection receives a high share of refinement, so check out the gorgeously tailored designs!

The spring 2013 fashion season already made its debut in New York and it seems that fashion designers chose various sources as inspiration for their newest collections. Predominantly, the new high-end garments displayed on the catwalks were all about silky fabrics, soft and fabulous pigments, clean cuts as well as fabulous prints as renowned fashion brand J.Crew proves through its spring 2013 collection.

Apparently, nature was the muse for Tom Mora, J.Crew's head of women's design, as the new collection was contoured in the designer's mind while in vacation at his parents home, where he discovered an old collection of Time-Life nature books which displayed the most amazing pictures of flowers, trees and insects, all in vivid colors that enchanted the eyes. The free-spirit energy exuded by nature was captured perfectly by Tom Mora in the spring 2013 fashion collection for J.Crew as each and every design had a very relaxed feel given by both the clean cuts displayed throughout the collection as well as the amazing bright color palette used.
